HISTORY OF PRACTICE:
She is the Associate Judge for Dallas County Probate Court #3 and has
presided at over 6,000 probable cause hearings for the Mental Illness
Court both in the Courthouse and in Dallas County hospitals. She was a trial lawyer for eight years including two years as a
Dallas County Probate Court Investigator where she investigated the
circumstances of children, disabled individuals, and elderly persons
referred to the Probate Courts for guardianship.
As a trial lawyer, her primary areas of
practice were: family and civil litigation, collaboration in civil and
family law cases, juvenile law, mediation, international corporate law (Europe, Mexico,
and China), business representation, non-profit corporations, estate
planning for small business owners and entrepreneurs, estate planning for
families affected by special needs individuals, probate, and guardianships.
